Why Nothing You Do Ever Feels Like Enough.

You've built something real. A business, a family, a career, a life. People look at you and think: she's got it together.

And you do. From the outside.

But at 2am, or at 4pm when the house is quiet, or in the shower, or in the car, there's a voice. And it says: this still isn't enough. You still aren't enough. Something is still missing.

You've tried to outrun it. You've worked harder, achieved more, added more to your plate. You've read the books. You've listened to the podcasts. You've told yourself to be grateful.

And you are grateful. That's not the problem. The problem is that gratitude doesn't make the voice stop.

The Profitable Mindset Academy is where the voice stops.

Not because I give you a new affirmation to paste over it. Because I teach you the self-coaching skills to find it, see it clearly, question it, and choose something true instead. Skills that become yours permanently, for the rest of your life.

"I kind of thought I had my shit together. I'm 53. I've been a lifelong learner, always in some workshop or class. But there was still this missing piece. This class and the mindset coaching was that missing piece in my life. I have a sense of emotional freedom that I've never experienced. And all of my relationships have changed in an incredibly profound way, and nobody else in my life has taken this class. I'm the only one who changed. But everything changed."

The Opening

I need to tell you something before you read any further. Not a sales pitch. Just the truth about why this program exists.

When I was twelve years old, I got cast as the lead in the school play. And for the first time in my life, I felt whole. Complete. Like I actually existed as a real person.

That might sound dramatic. But I need you to understand what my life was before that moment. I grew up in a home where nothing I did was right. Nothing I wore was right. Nothing I said was right. My mother carried a self-loathing so deep it spilled onto everything around her, including me. By twelve, I didn't believe I existed as a person worth seeing.

The stage was the first place anyone ever gave me permission to be whole.

I chased that feeling for the next thirty years. In the show ring, I became a champion equestrian. In marriage to a man who was an addict. In my business, which I built from nothing into something that has impacted over 10,000 people.

And I did all of it from anxiety. From proving. From the belief that if I stopped performing for one single day, everything would disappear. Because I would disappear.

When I was thirty, a doctor told me I was going to die. I had spent eighteen years at war with my own body. The war was winning.

And I chose to live.

That choice is the foundation of everything I have today. My business. My children. My home. My marriage. My peace. It took me five years to recover from something that most people never recover from. It took me another twenty years to build what I have now.

And today I finally understand the thing I want to teach you:

The completeness was always there.

I didn't create it through struggle. I didn't earn it through recovery. I didn't build it through my business. It was there at twelve, underneath the shame. At sixteen, underneath the survival. At twenty-two, at thirty, at forty. Always there.

I just couldn't see it. Because there was a thought in the way.

There's one in your way too. And I want to help you find it.

"When I signed up, I was at the lowest point in my life. Multiple panic attacks every day. I was on Prozac, Valium, and Atarax. Everything felt out of my control.

I've always been a high achiever, that's how I made myself special, by doing more.

And for the first time, I didn't feel empowered or confident. I felt powerless and lost and scared.

Doing this work, slowly, I started to see that I can't control the circumstances around me. My kid was sick last week and I sat on the couch with him for five days. In the past, I would have been beating myself up for not being productive, telling myself I was lazy.

For the first time, I was like, I'm doing the most important thing right now. Just being present with my son. The person I've become is someone who wants to enjoy life and love the experiences around me instead of trying to control everything. For the first time, I'm okay just being myself, just as I am."

~ Marissa,  age 29

What Changes When the Thought Changes

This is what I want you to understand before anything else: when you find the thought that's been running your life and you learn to choose a different one, it doesn't just change one thing. It changes everything. Because the thought was never just about your business or your body or your marriage. It was underneath all of it.

You stop performing and start being.

The exhausting game of trying to be enough, for your kids, your spouse, your clients, your parents, everyone, quiets down. Not because you stop caring. Because you stop needing their approval to feel okay. You show up because you want to, not because you have to prove something. People notice the difference. They can't name it, but they feel it. You become magnetic, not because you're trying harder, but because you're finally just being yourself..

"Everyone always made excuses for me anytime I showed successes. Excuses of why I was able to do something they couldn't or didn't want to do. I can see now that others were trying to make me look smaller in their eyes to make themselves feel better. I used to believe that my achievements were luck and coincidences. I now know that what I have achieved is from hard work, dedication, and knowing how to push myself to be better. I know I am unstoppable. I am capable of doing hard things. My new thought about myself is: I'm a badass."

~ Erica

Your relationships transform.

When you stop taking responsibility for everyone else's feelings, something remarkable happens: the people around you start growing. Your kids become more self-sufficient. Your partner has space to show up differently. You stop over-giving and resenting, and start giving from genuine joy with no strings attached. The fights you've been having for years shift because you're no longer bringing your shame to the conversation.

"My little side note: my husband used to just drive me crazy with all the little things he'd do. And now they just don't. They just don't matter. They're just, that's just him. And I've been able to have such great conversations with him about circumstances being neutral. That has changed so much in how we communicate and interact. Nobody in my life has taken this class, nobody does any type of personal development, nobody, but I have. And all of my relationships have changed in an incredibly profound way."

~ Kathleen

You make more money, and you can actually enjoy it.

This isn't a business program, but the skills you learn here will impact your income because they change how you think about pricing, selling, receiving payment, and receiving success. When you stop undercharging because you don't feel worthy, when you stop over-delivering because you're trying to prove the value, when you stop hiding parts of yourself from your audience, you make more money. And more importantly, you can let it stay without guilt.

"Last week I was like, I don't want to work today. My kids were getting out of school and it was kind of crazy. I just want to go out to lunch and have fun and relax. And I was like, oh, I can actually do that. And I don't know. It just feels like so much possibility. That it works. This year is easier than ever and I'm making more than ever. And I'm like, oh, it's happening. That thing she's been talking about."

~ Noella

Your body changes.

Chronic tension, insomnia, autoimmune flare-ups, stress-related illness. So much of what we carry physically is being driven by thoughts we can't see. When the thought shifts, the body shifts. I've watched women's health markers change, sleep patterns normalize, and chronic conditions ease, not because this is medical treatment, but because a nervous system that isn't running on shame and anxiety has a chance to heal.

"When I joined the program, I told Charlotte I had an autoimmune disease. The symptoms are gone. All of them. My life is organized. I don't live in reaction mode anymore. I have a clear stop to my day. I have family time and work time. And I'm making four times the money I made last year."

~ Dee

You can finally rest.

Not the kind of rest where you collapse from exhaustion on a Friday night. The kind where you sit on your porch at 4pm on a Tuesday with a cup of tea and actually enjoy it. Where you don't feel guilty for doing nothing. Where the voice that says you should be doing something gets quieter until one day you notice it's gone and you're just sitting there. Peaceful. Present. In the life you built.

"I tried the thought 'you can have peace in every moment.' That was too much. I can't have peace all the time. But 'I can have peace in this moment,' that seems really attainable and doable. And I can do it over and over all day. That has been a big change for me."

~ Charlotte H.

You become the leader everyone already saw in you, but now you feel it too.

Women in this program come out saying things like "I'm the leader of my family now." "I'm the leader of my business now." "I'm the leader of my own life." Not because they learned leadership skills, because they stopped second-guessing themselves long enough to actually lead.

"I'm the captain of my own ship. If I want to stay small or have my business look a different way, I can take full ownership of that. Something I don't like, I feel empowered to take that on. It is harder, because I have to do the work of figuring out what I actually want, which is a hard question to settle down and listen to. But that's okay too, to change your mind. So yeah. I feel empowered. And free."

~ Noella

You parent differently.

Not from a parenting book. From the realization that your kids don't need you to fix their problems, they need you to be present while they feel them. When you stop projecting your own not-enoughness onto your children, they get to be themselves. And so do you.

"I've learned how to throw a life preserver for my mom from the boat, instead of getting into the water when she's flailing. I've learned to say no without worrying about what others think. I've learned to show up for myself by honoring my boundaries. I put myself on the team where I get to eat and enjoy and rest too. I feel complete in moments and truly myself, not the reactive, protective version of myself."

~ Laura

You stop fixing everyone and everything, and it's the most freeing thing you've ever experienced.

"It's hard for me to not get sucked in. But when I'm able to take the time and step back, I do get that space. And that is freeing, that I'm not captured by feeling like I have to fix someone else or do something to make someone happy. I can do what makes me happy, what I feel I need to do. And that's what I'm going to do."

What's Included

Here's what you'll learn to do:

  • 1. Find the thought you can't see. The most powerful thoughts don't feel like thoughts. They feel like facts, like gravity, like "the way things are." You'll learn to identify the specific sentence running underneath your anxiety, your people-pleasing, your overwork, your inability to rest, and your feeling of never being enough. Once you see it, it loses its power.

  •  2. Understand why it's there. The thought didn't come from nowhere. Someone installed it, a parent, a teacher, a culture, a painful experience, before you were old enough to question it. You'll trace it back to its origin, not to blame anyone, but to finally separate what's yours from what was given to you.

  •  3. Feel what's underneath it. This work isn't just intellectual. It lives in your body. You'll learn to do body scans, to follow the energy instead of the story, to notice when your chest tightens or your shoulders rise, because your body always tells the truth before your brain does.

  •  4. Rewrite your past without changing the facts. You can't change what happened. But you can change the narrator. You'll learn the timeline practice, revisiting younger versions of yourself and gifting them what they deserved to receive at the time: dignity, hope, the felt experience of being whole. This is the work that dissolves shame at the root.

  •  5. Stop fixing and start witnessing. If you're the person everyone comes to, the one who takes on everyone else's problems, the one who can't watch someone struggle without jumping in, you'll learn why that pattern exists and how to be present to someone's pain without making it your responsibility. This skill alone will transform your relationships, your parenting, and your leadership.

  •  6. Receive what you've built. If you've created a good life and you can't enjoy it, if peace lasts about sixty seconds before your brain sends you back to work, you'll learn to let good things stay. Compliments, rest, revenue, love, stillness. You'll learn to stop purging joy with productivity and start actually living inside the life you built.

  •  7. Coach yourself through anything. By the end of twelve months, you won't need me to find the thought. You'll be able to sit down with a journal, a settled room, and your own brain, and work through whatever life throws at you. That's the real gift of this program, not dependence on a coach, but the ability to be your own.

"Whatever comes along, I can handle it. That's the thought that changed everything. I feel powerful and capable of managing my emotions. Not managing other people's emotions, but other people's emotions no longer feel so daunting. I have a way to work through them."

~ Rebecca

The Thursday Gathering

Every Thursday at 10am Pacific, we gather.

Not for a lecture. Not for a lesson. For an hour that women in this program describe as the most nourishing hour of their week.

Here's what happens: I open. We settle in. I coach. You bring whatever you're carrying, the thought that won't let go, the situation that's eating at you, the pattern you watched yourself repeat again this week, and we find the thread together. Sometimes you're the one being coached. Sometimes you're watching someone else and realizing: that's my thought too. Both change you.

There's something that happens in this room that I can't fully explain on a sales page. When a woman brings her real thing, not the surface thing, the real thing, and another woman across the country or across the world is listening and silently crying because she's been carrying the same thought for twenty years and never told anyone, something shifts that goes beyond coaching. It's recognition. It's the experience of being truly seen. Not for what you do. For who you are.

Women tell me they protect this hour the way they protect nothing else on their calendar. They move appointments. They sit in their car in the parking lot of their kid's school. They close their office door and put up the sign. Because this is the one hour each week where someone is paying attention to what's happening inside of them, and it turns out that's the thing they've been starving for.

One hour every Thursday. Sometimes longer if the coaching needs more room. Recorded if you can't be there live, but I'd encourage you to come live when you can. There's something about being in the room that a replay can't fully replicate.

You don't have to be in crisis to come. Most weeks you won't be. You'll just be a woman who wants to be in a room where she's seen, where the work is real, and where she leaves lighter than she arrived.

"I always felt like I'm trapped in a box. Trapped by what other people thought I had to be. But now I know that other people can't control that, it was my own thoughts. And I've really been able to break out of that. I'm open to the possibility. And I truly believe I deserve all the good things that I always felt like everyone else deserved more than me. We're all equal."

INTRODUCING

Profitable Mindset Academy

The Profitable Mindset Academy is a 12-month coaching program where you learn the self-coaching skills to find, question, and replace the thoughts that have been running your life, so you can do this work on your own, anytime, for the rest of your life.

Here's how it works: you learn the skills through pre-recorded video lessons that you can watch on your own time, at your own pace. Then you bring your real life to the Thursday coaching call, where I coach you live on whatever you're facing that week. The videos teach the skills. The calls are where you use them, with me right there to help you see what you can't see on your own.

These aren't concepts to understand. They're skills to practice. And once they're yours, they're yours permanently. No one can take them from you.

The Self-Coaching Skills You'll Learn

The skills are taught through pre-recorded video lessons organized into six phases. You access them on your own time, at your own pace, binge them or take them slow. The videos are the education. The Thursday calls are where you bring your real life and practice the skills with me coaching you through it.

Phase 1: The Foundation

How your thoughts create your feelings, how your feelings drive your actions, and how your actions create your results. This is the operating system underneath everything, and once you see it, you can't unsee it. You'll learn to find the thought that's been invisible to you, name the feeling it's creating, and trace the actions that follow. This alone will change how you move through every day.

Phase 2: The Inherited Script

Where the thought came from. The beliefs that were installed by your parents, your culture, your religion, your early experiences. You'll learn to separate what's actually true about you from what someone else decided was true about you before you could question it. This is where the self-compassion begins, because once you see that the thought was never yours, the shame around it softens.

"I do believe I'm worthy because I exist. When I wrote all my thoughts, it really just kept coming back to that. I've always judged myself by what I get done. This is just letting me reflect and not judge myself that way. I'm more self-confident. More patient. Less critical of everyone else. Really trying to not judge people by what they accomplish, but realize that people are worthy because they exist."

~ Susan

Phase 3: The Body Knows

Your body has been keeping the score. You'll learn emotional awareness at the felt level, body scans, following energy shifts, recognizing when your chest is telling you something your brain is trying to override. This is the work that takes thought work from intellectual exercise to embodied transformation.

"The word 'bat' used to trigger a panic attack. After we did the processing feelings work, I went to Bass Pro Shop, they have a fake cave setting with bats, and I sat under it and just let myself have a panic attack in public and process through the feelings. And now I can see bats. I can talk about bats. I can talk about rabies. It has no hold over me."

~ Marissa

Phase 4: Rewriting the Past

The timeline practice. You'll revisit key moments in your life, not to relive them, but to meet the younger version of you who was there and give her what she deserved. Dignity. Hope. Witness. The felt experience of being whole even when everything around her said she wasn't. This is where the deepest shifts happen.

"I've learned that it's not just okay to be me. It's pretty darn cool. I'm sitting on the edge of failure with my farm right now, but every day, one day at a time, a sale comes in or something and it's working out. I trust that even if it does fail, it'll still be okay. Before this, I couldn't have said that."

~ Millie

Phase 5: Relationships, Boundaries, and the Fixer

Why you over-give. Why you can't watch someone struggle without jumping in. Why you take on responsibility for other people's feelings. And how to be present to someone's pain, your child's, your partner's, your client's, without making it your fault or your project. This phase transforms marriages, parenting, friendships, and leadership.

"My mom went back to the hospital this week. Before this class, I would have dropped everything. I basically did that in December, took all the responsibility as the oldest child. This time, I let my siblings handle it. I'm not rushing into a fire that's not mine to rush into because I'm not a firefighter. I had plans. The kids had stuff scheduled. I'm taking care of myself so I can be a better help when she gets out. And I'm working on being okay with it."

~ Laura

Phase 6: Receiving and Integration

The final phase. How to let good things stay. How to sit in the life you've built and actually feel it. How to stop earning your worth and start living from it. How to carry everything you've learned not as a practice you do, but as the person you are. This is the graduation, not from the program, but from the old operating system.

"I've slowed down. I'm a person who responds and not reacts. And that makes me feel grounded, safe, and connected. I have become a person who can hold space and ask questions instead of giving my opinion. I'm more loving and more accepting, not judging others for where they are, but loving them as they are. There's been a lot more giving myself permission to show up as I truly am instead of molding myself to others."

~ Kimberly

The Community

The women in this program are not beginners at life. They're farmers, nurses, teachers, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home moms, engineers, therapists, coaches. They've built real things. They've survived real things.

The common thread is not what they do. It's that they've all built something meaningful and they all carry a thought that's keeping them from fully experiencing it.

There's something powerful about being in a room with women who understand this without you having to explain it. Who won't judge you for having a beautiful life and still feeling empty sometimes. Who get it, because they're here doing the same work.

"You feel like you're on an island until you really open up and start talking to others like we do here. It's so common, and that makes growth so much easier. When you see that other people are struggling with the same thing, it triggers less shame. You realize: oh, everyone feels this way. And that helps you let go."

~ Stephanie

✔️ You're in the right place if:

  • You've built something you're proud of, a business, a family, a career, a life, and you still feel like something is missing
  • You're the person everyone comes to for advice, but you can't seem to take your own
  • You're exhausted, not from the work, but from the invisible weight you're carrying while you do it
  • You can't sit still. Not because you're busy, but because stillness feels dangerous and you don't know why
  • You've done some personal development work and it helped, but you know there's a deeper layer you haven't reached yet
  • You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, and you know the concepts, but knowing and living are two different things
  • You want to learn self-coaching skills from someone who has actually walked the path, not someone who studied it

❌This is NOT for you if:

  • You're looking for a quick fix or a three-step formula
  • You want someone to tell you what to do instead of helping you find your own answers
  • You're not willing to be honest with yourself about what's really going on underneath the surface

Hi, I'm Charlotte Smith

I grew up on a farm in Oregon where the culture was: if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. I was working eight-hour days by age five. The highest form of feedback was "you missed a spot."

When I was fourteen, my dad's farm went bankrupt. We lost everything except the clothes on our back. I watched everything we owned be sold in a yard sale in a town of 400 people where I'm related to half of them. People we owed money to never spoke to us again.

That experience imprinted a belief on my brain that ran my life for decades: if you lose everything, you don't deserve to exist.

I spent the next twenty years trying to earn my existence. Through achievement, through performance, through work that never stopped. I became a champion equestrian. I got the lead in every play I tried out for. I built a business from our kitchen table that has now impacted over 10,000 people. I earned national recognition, a #1 Amazon bestselling book, and a spot on Food Tank's Top 25 Most Influential Women in Food and Agriculture.

And I couldn't sit still for sixty seconds.

At thirty, a doctor told me I was going to die if I didn't change what I was doing to myself. I had been at war with my own body for eighteen years. The war was winning.

I chose to live. It took five years to recover from something most people never recover from.

The self-coaching skills I learned in the years after that conversation are the reason I'm still here. They're the skills I now teach, not from a certification, but from a life that almost ended and didn't.

I live on a flower farm in Oregon with my husband, my three grown kids nearby, and more peace than I ever thought was available to me. Not because my life is perfect. Because I finally learned that I was always complete, and the thoughts telling me otherwise were never mine to begin with.

That's what I want to teach you.

Named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Food & Ag by Food Tank, #1 Amazon Bestseller with "Farm Marketing from the Heart," Host of The Profitable Mindset Podcast

As Seen On

"I am becoming me. I'm stepping into the highest version of myself, someone who can embrace constant change and grow and expand with compassion, both for myself and for others. My thought is: I get to design and build the life that I want, learning new skills along the way while allowing myself to let go of anything that no longer serves me."

A Final Thought

I spent fifty years looking for permission to be whole. I looked for it on stage, on horseback, in marriages, in revenue, in applause, in the approval of people who were never going to give it.

This spring, my coach said five words: "Permission granted. Get into character."

And I realized: the character is me.

Not a role. Not a performance. Not the professional version or the polished version or the version that hides the hard parts. Just me. Complete. Whole. Effervescent, bubbling up from the inside, from nowhere, from existence itself.

That completeness was always there. Underneath the shame, the performing, the proving. I didn't build it. I didn't earn it. It was there before any of it started. I just couldn't see it because there was a thought in the way.

There's one in your way too. And I'd love to help you find it.

Not so I can fix you. You were never broken.

So you can finally see what was always there.

Let's go!
